Rebecca has worked as a Paediatric Respiratory Nurse specialising in asthma and allergy for over 20 years at Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH).  During this time she has graduated from the University of Southampton with an Allergy MSc in 2011 and gained extensive experience as a non-medial prescriber running nurse led asthma and allergy clinics. Rebecca is also a Higher Education Academy Teaching Fellow and has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (higher education).  Rebecca now has two roles as a Senior Lecturer in children’s nursing at the University of Chester and running nurse led Allergy/asthma clinics at Wirral University Teaching hospital.  Over the years Rebecca has been involved in numerous teaching activities and is a trainer for Education for Health Asthma degree and diploma modules.  In addition for the past eight years Rebecca has been an active committee member of the National Paediatric Respiratory and Allergy Nurses Group (NPRANG) including treasurer and vice chair roles and now is involved in the NPRANG education subcommittee. Rebecca is also actively involved with the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) Allergy Education Network (BAEN) and the with the regional paediatric allergy network, North West Paediatric Allergy.  Rebecca has been an invited speaker at a variety of national and regional conferences.
