Atrial Fibrillation And Heart Failure Study Day
This study day will enable you to recognise Heart Failure and AF symptoms appropriately.
The following topics will be covered:
• Explore the clinical, practical and theoretical aspects of heart failure diagnosis
• To review cardiovascular clinical examination
• To understand basic ECG, ECHO and biochemical markers of heart failure
• Understand causes and consequences of AF
• Understand the concepts of rate control and rhythm control of AF
• Source and reference NICE guidelines on AF
This course is delivered by expert practising clinicians.

- To clinically assess by history and examination of patients with signs and symptoms of heart failure
- To determine the ECG, Xray, Ultrasound associated with heart failure
- Management and treatment of patients who are acutely unwell
- Understanding AF and Heart failure epidemiology
