Course information:
This study day will enable you to recognise asthma and COPD symptoms appropriately.
The following topics will be covered:-
The definition of asthma, prevalence and impact on lives, diagnosis, British Thoracic Society/Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network - Guidelines on the management of asthma, concordance and compliance and treatment of an acute asthma attack.
To provide an overview of COPD. It will outline the condition, its complexities and basic management and how to treat an acute exacerbation.
This course is supported by learning materials and delivered by expert practising clinicians.
